ChatLogr (“the extension”) is a Chrome extension that helps you automatically capture, organize, and export your ChatGPT interactions. This policy explains what the extension collects, how it uses that information, and your choices.
While you are using ChatGPT, the extension may capture:
All captured information is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage mechanisms. The extension does not send this data to external servers, third parties, or the developer by default.
The extension requests certain Chrome permissions to deliver its functionality:
webRequest / webNavigation – to detect when new ChatGPT content is loaded and when you click through links from ChatGPT.storage / unlimitedStorage – to save your captured sessions locally so you can review or export them later.downloads – to let you export your captured data to CSV or JSON files.tabs – to associate captured content with the correct ChatGPT tab/session.https://chatgpt.com/* and user-initiated destinations) – to read the ChatGPT page where the interaction occurs and to detect click-throughs.These permissions are used solely to provide the features described above and not for advertising, tracking across unrelated sites, or selling data.
Data stays in your browser until you remove it. You can clear the extension’s stored data or uninstall the extension at any time to remove all locally stored information.
The extension does not sell, rent, or otherwise share your captured data with third parties. Any exports (CSV/JSON) are initiated by you and saved to your devices.
Because data is stored locally, it is protected by your browser’s and operating system’s security. Please keep your device and browser up to date.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
